Sometimes the weight you’re carrying isn’t a sign you’re lost—it’s proof that you’re committed. You’re showing up. You’re building something. You’re choosing trust over comfort.

The Apostle Paul wrote that he had learned the secret to being content in all circumstances—plenty or lack, joy or sorrow (Philippians 4:11–13). That kind of contentment doesn’t come from comfort. It comes from alignment.

 

And alignment doesn’t always feel like peace and butterflies. Sometimes it feels like perseverance, discipline, and pressing through when it would be easier to quit.
