Do you agree that we often go through life believing that anything worth having has to be hard, we have to earn it and if we aren't resisting it in some way, something is wrong?

That's also like trying to shove a ball full of air beneath the water and expecting it not to pop-up. It's natural for it to float above the surface.

At a time when people are making their vision boards, coming up with their plans and scheduling out timelines, I had this question hit my spirit; are you willing to suspend your plans and strategies so that God can give you His? Who's influence are you actually living from/under?

Often the plan and strategy are simple; pray and obey. We make it complicated. What is sure, is that we will get a harvest of the thoughts, habits, words and behaviors we sow.
